Mea seems to be a very good listener at a year old, My chocolate boy is 16 mo. and weve had him out in the field but I just cant get him to be that good!!!....lol. we are still working very hard though.
I am not sure if its my imagination but black labs seem to have a greater attraction to water. Once they overcome initial fear, keeping them outa water is the problem, irrespective of water temperature.

@Donegaldan idk weve had 2 chockelts and they both loved the watter and the yellow lab we have now loves the watter too
