He feels the war in Iraq is pointless and costly (70% agree), he feels every american citizen is entitled to health care (at least 60% agree), and he wants to improve access to higher education -- especially for returning veterans (again, over 60%). Sounds like he represents a bigger proportion than you realize.

If my mom is sick and I go to my neighbors and force them to give me money so I can give to my mom...I go to jail for being a thief. So funding for public education is theft? What about funding for federal student loan programs? Social Security? Medicare/medicaid? How 'bout highway funding? Income tax? You don't happen to live on a compound in Montana, do you?
Any federal social program is unconstitutional. The federal government derives no constitutional powers to provide Socialist programs. Public education should be left to the states not the federal government. We need to disband the Federal dept of education. And yes we need to get rid of Medicaid and medicare. If you want to help someone who is sick, donate your own money to charity. I would rather donate to charity that have the money I worked hard for stolen from me.
Well, constitutional scholars and 200 years of jurisprudence disagree with you. Congress has the right to issue bills which the President can veto or pass into law.
