Does he use dragon stopmotion for taking snaps only or does this software also input the taken pictures into the filmed video as well? Please elaborate

@IbteeDApunisher I believe it controls all aspects of photography and the production process. Any compositing work like you see here (post-production) I believe has to be done elsewhere. Pretty sure he uses After Effects and either Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

@HardwiredProductions I too have started making stop motion films recently as a hobby. But the only software I use is for taking pictures in a fast manner and then I compile the pics in movie maker. But if I could make a video in this manner(which is easier after i know the correct way) then the videos will be way cleaner and better. Can you tell me how do I know for sure which software to learn that can help me make video in this manner

Just like this example You are the one sculpting, schools, colleges and universities are the tools and the talent in you is stone which you need to improve make something out of it. If you don't have the stone then what will you improve.

well, the one that he used for animating the figure comes with most revoltech figures, so you could just buy a figure, so u have it and a fig.

Does anyone know how, when the figure is being animated, there is a green glow on it from the greenscreen, but later on, the green glow is gone? How does he do this? I am having the same problem, and parts of my figure are disappearing when I composite because of the green reflection! Help?

Better lighting? better camera? make sure you dont have a full sun glowing right on it, maybe put the light at an angle that wont reflect as much.

Notice how he did it outside on what seems to be a fairly overcast autumn day.

i use frame by frame up to 30 fps, does imovie take a while? frame by frame lets u shoot and is built to run it all into video, even changes to quicktime
