  • Why oh why did John Fogarty hate their performance at Woodstock so much that he didn't want them to figure on the movie and the first record sets ???

  • @rigaudien Who knows? Jimi Hendrix hated his Band of Gypsys performance, so who can tell what musicians will like or not like or what mood they're in the day they're asked how they feel about any given performance.

  • @dantean It's so obvious that CCR was marvelously GOOD that night !!! BRAVO !

  • @rigaudien Exactly! This is why I'm saying there's no telling how the artists is going to feel about their own performance. Since there's no dispute over whether or not HE hated it, all we're left with is "who knows why?"

  • @dantean Yesss ! Let's enjoy ! And hope there's more and more rarity clips from that famous festival !

  • @rigaudien CCR was good every night, john fogerty is amazing saw him live twice

  • @mrlandroverdiscovery You saw them at Woodstock ?

  • there are 2 communist that have watched this video...

  • @seckler17 And at least one asshole.

  • Wow......absolutely awesome stuff........

  • Best of bests.. fantastic John as usual and all the boys.. drum and bass of Cook.. my fav from CCR

  • up more of the creedence please look great thanks

  • Love Tom's T-shirt!

  • @KuKuRuKuVaFla I like Cosmo's (Doug) better.

  • I hate when he says "chooglin"

  • @IceCubeJohnson then don't listen

  • @superstallion427 I'm never going to stop listening to CCR, or stop forcing everyone around me to listen as well. I just think it's a phony word.

If i could meet John Fogerty first I would get his autograph, then I would slap him and say dont EVER say that word again. Then i might have to go to jail for a while, Then I might get killed by an angry CCR fan, But it would all be worth it just to let him and everyone else know what I think. Because yes, I am that important.

  • @IceCubeJohnson he no longer signs autographs..he will ell you "sorry i dont fdo that anymore" I have a photo with him..one of the rarest photos i ever got at songwriters hall of fame...he was very nice.

  • wow!A quality of the video is very cool :) I thought it's concert of the 2000 =)Awesome

  • Thanks for sharing. When I was a kid, my older brother got all their records.. The CCR addiction spread through our family :-)

  • What an absolutely great video of Creedence Clearwater Revival at Woodstock!! Someone also uploaded another rare film of CCR at Woodstock here on Youtube. I loved CCR so much when I was an 8th grade back in 1970, and it is wonderful to see these old concert films on Youtube. So glad that I am from the Boomer generation - our generation made great music and produced a lot of talented performers and bands!! CCR will live throughout history!!

  • happy 42nd anniversary of this concert!!!!

  • Just wanted you to know I gave this video about 500 views all by myself.

  • damn my parents had me like 30 yrs tooo late

  • @zeppelinkid200 My son who is now 27 says the same thing. But you have to remember back in the late 60's and early 70's, music had two big media outlets. TV and FM radio. And back then there was no cable television, and music ruled. So there was a lot of it. Nowadays, there are PC's, video games, paint ball, snow boarding to throw into the mix. So music today is not getting noticed because there is lots of things to distract. The 60's and 70's was the bomb. Concerts were king., I loved it.

  • Great sound! Thanks for uploading a HQ version!

    UR THE BEST

  • Remarkably good quality for a live recording. Great!

  • Excellent video and sound mate. Quality upload. Where did you get this from if you don't mind me asking?

  • @siddv This is from the woodstock 40th anniversery dvd, if im not mistaken :)

  • someone can tell me the last words of John...he looks a bit angry, and i can't understand it completely

  • @johnluchomono, "Can you get that thing on, is it going?" Sounds like he is telling the cameraman or a crew member something.

  • What potential. Imagine if they could have stayed together as long as the Rolling Stones? Best catalog per year on the charts by a mile. The best there was...and could have been...

  • John Fogerty at 1:17 said "Corn On The Bayou"

  • Can anyone tell me what notes Stu Cook is playing from 4:39 on?

  • @TeamMastaPr2 That's just an E scale...very similar to Suzie Q

  • @johnluchomono Ok, but the bass line to "Susie Q" is well down on the fret board (around 7th fret)

  • Ich liebe diesen Song, und diese Qualität !!!!!! habe ich auch noch nie gesehen aber wirklich schade dass man Tom Fogerty und Stu Cook so selten sieht.!!!!!

  • The best rock&roll band ever! - what a shame the other band members couldn't accept John Fogerty being the "driver" of this band - then we might have had much more fantastic music from this band. Good that we can still enjoy John Fogerty live perfomances today

  • This is amazing man !!!

    THANK YOU !!!

  • The angle of views, the extra few seconds, and the color quality are far superior to any other clip I have seen of this performance! Thanks!

  • You are the best Thank you man , but Youtube gonna quit you the video

  • @ccrstucook It's easy to watch the bassit play, eh?!

  • Please upload my favorite Keep on chooglin :)
