ERM... the way described is too complex... while running up to a player before u get tackled hold L2 while doing a fake shot (O + X) always works... so its L2 + O + X... or xbox its erm... no idea.

@FIFAflex1 What I usually do for a long shot, usually resulting in shots with a lot of dip, is knock it ahead of me with the right analog stick when I have space and then hit it first time dead on. make sure to knock it straight into the direction of the corner you want to put it in!

@TheFancy60 ahh, yea in that case, its MUCH easier, but only because of the inputs for skills being relative to what direction you're facing. It really is annoying to try and pull this off when you're running at an angle. I somehow get the heel to heel skill sometimes instead of the chop in those cases :/ "down right, down right" should always be down right, down right.....and not up left, up left at a 37 degree angle.

@TheFancy60 For beginners it's actually easier to learn the R stick version of this trick. From experience I know a lot of people can't get the timing right and often end up kicking the ball away. That can't happen if you use the R stick.

it is unrealistic man.....its a football simulator i think (in my opinion) you should try to play it like you would on real life or like the players would do it on real life....abusing skills is not real football....to me it is more rewarding to build the play and think about what you are doing and accomplishing it rather than taking one player and doing 4 skills in a row to score.....again just my opinion
