@gutz323 yes they do. but only ed has remained from this lineup. his wife (bass) and his son (keys) play in the band and they tour with occasional drummers. they have left uk and are now based in the us. utube's full of their recent stuff
Très enveloppant, avec cette trame de plus en plus intense. Mais, ce qui finit par m'énerver c'est cette sonorité et ces arrangements un peu trop léchés et techniques. J'aimerais voir et entendre ce jam live.
I saw this mob. Outstanding gig. It was sometime in the mid-eighties. I think it was above a pub, Kilburn way. I wish I could be more precise but the eighties were not kind to me!
A trully amazing song. By far the hardest song I play. I use it to show off some times :P (I still can't play the whole thing without any mistakes). That rythm is damn near impossible to get right.
@furlordaki: I'm thinking the tuning of the guitar is in Open Dsus4 (DADGAD), am I correct? I looked at some live video of this song to try to figure it out.
@ses110 I just tune down top E to D. Play it with your ring finger glued to D (5th string 3rd fret) the rest of the work is done by the index and the middle finger. The most challenging part is the timing in this song. It's all over the place. Don't try to make sense out of it. Just play what you hear and try to remember it. Good luck!
4:55 till 5:55 OMG!!!! and then the other part untill the end of the song... I WANT TO DIE IN SPACE LOOKING AT THE EARTH WITH THIS PART VIBRATING IN MY HEAD! soooo beautiful...
@dextermeth "The general public, are ignorant and meddlesome outsiders who must be put in their place. They are to be spectators of action not participants who must be regimented to abandon any ideas about controlling their own lives. Their task is to develop a philosophy of futility and to follow orders while focusing their attention on more superficial things which comprise much of fashionable consumption."
~ Walter Lippmann (Pioneer of Propaganda) (1922)
@dextermeth "The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizen of this plight."
@dextermeth 'It is my opinion that if the liberties of this country(USA) are destroyed, it will be by the subtlety of the Roman catholic Jesuit priests, for they are the most crafty, dangerous enemies to civil and religous liberty. They have instigated most of the wars of Europe.' Marquis de LaFayette
@dextermeth 'I do not like the reappearance of The Jesuits ... If ever there was a body of men who merited damnation on earth and in hell, it is this society of Loyola's. Nevertheless, we are compelled by our system of religous toleration to offer them an asylum.' John Adams, 2nd President of the U.S.A

I was cooking a curry to this song. It felt like I was an alchemist mixing a potion to save mankind or some shit.
I agree entirely with the top comment, and I defy anyone not to.
