All the arguments about who'll sound better on this song might be a completely moot point because Charice wrote a lyric on her twitter from Bounce Back and it's NOT in this song: "No excuses - you don't need to explain, No apologies - I'm over all the pain" - #BounceBack. @JumperSC I am an American. I grew up listening to and being a fan of singers like Celine, Whitney, Mariah, Toni Braxton, Boyz II men, Babyface just to name a few. Fantasia voice is just not in my taste though. But something is just different about Charice. One day she does opera/r&b/soul/adult contemporary then switch up to pop/rock/dance/hip hop. She pleases fans of all ages/gender/race. She plays instrument, dances, artistic. And her heart is bigger than her voice. Check out her backstory.

Was this song originally intended for Fantasia but rejected by her label? If it was written for Charice, why didn't they have her sing it directly or make the demo? I'm just curious how these things work. Most likely, it wasn't written specifically for Charice but shopped around until it found her to be the perfect match for the song. Anyway, it sounds like a hit-in-the-making for Charice. So excited to hear her version. Can't wait.

That said, u got it right, the song is shopped until it finds a home. Personally, I think Charice is going to do freaking awesome on BB ! I have no doubt that Charice will make this song her own, but I hope Chasters don't discredit the demo singers. Personally, Fantasia did fabulous with emoting this song. It's normal that some people may doubt Charice's ability to "keep up" if they don't know her talents well.
