  • great job!

  • Dude get an eminence speaker for that classic and it will be a totally different amp, guys like the wizard and the governor I use the private jack in mine. Oh and I use an mxr 10 band in the front and that's it, no tubescreamer the eq with the gain is enough

  • @Marathonmarch Good tip, stock speaker isn't that good, really. Unfortunatelly I don't own this amp anymore, but I agree with speaker change. This amp is great, and deserves a better speaker.

  • It sounded so original.

  • what is color of your guitar please?

  • did you upgrude to the gibson PUs or did it come with them?

  • Really nice playing like your vids

  • Awesome solo! I've always wanted to learn it. Would you consider teaching it? Or do you know a video that taught you how to play it?

  • I was thinking about buying this as a good starting point for mods with Gibson pickups and possibly tuning machines and more, do you think this is a good sturdy starting point?

  • So would you say that the 57's (low output) have better tone and quality than say their opposites (dirty fingers, deactivators, invaders, emgs)? By nature I'm a heavy player, but, I don't know, I guess I'm lookin' for great tone and it seems like higher output pickups (of which all I have is the 498T/490R...stock in a LP Studio) don't really have "tone". Get what I'm sayin'? -=80)

  • that tone sounds amazing!! i was wantin to get this guitar and put some 57's in it would you recommend it

  • you're good player.. i like your videos!

    peace!

  • Wonderful cover!! Just Perfect! Are you using gibson classic 57´ and classic 57+ pickups?

  • They're both 57, not plus

  • I Like your Style!

i saw some of your videos you rock! XD

  • nice playing! youre good

is that guitar virtually a gibson with those pickups modded in?

  • "Trying to play the solo of this great AC/DC song"

just love the people that say " ok, I'll try, but it will suck" and shit, but it turns out great. nice job!

  • hi,

are your pickups classic57 and classic57 plus ?

  • That was really well done. That solo has some great licks, throw in some of your own and it sounds amazing, ROCK ON!

  • sweet playing

  • nice

  • Aw3som3

  • Awesome !!

  • excellent super

  • how much do the 57 pickups help?

  • great solo and good sound !

  • perfect guitar and perfect the player too !! ;D

  • ive been trying to get this solo down and hearing just this part has helped a lot

  • so the treble sounds really metal right?

  • Not allways

Many rockbands do it too, guns n' roses in 1987 for example, slash always..

i think there just shouldn't be a rule for rhythm and lead, it's just neck and bridge pick up, you choose what you like the most;-)

  • how much did your guitar cost?

    greetings

  • Not a bad cover ;) Good job

  • what the fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk all of you talking about?!!?!?!? you sound fucking great keep rocking dude check my version

  • that was realy good, im trying 2 learn this solo but im finding it a bit difficult, good job :D

  • Nice job!

  • nice

do u know if its true that if u play on the very end of the guitar when its in treble it sounds really cool?

  • ya, u do know that's what hes doing

  • no i mean away from the frets, will sound scratchy

  • wait i don't understand what you mean, do you mean flip to the treble pickup and pick where the fretboard ends (above the rhythm pickup)??

  • well first whats the difference in all three of these pickups(treble, middle, rhythm).

and second i am talking about the place farthest away from the neck and head but still has strings.

  • well the treble pickup is closest to the bridge, farthest from the neck. the rhythm one is closest to the neck, and the middle is half-way between them. There is usually only 3 on a strat or some ibanez guitars. most les pauls, sg, or hollow-bodies use 2 humbuckers, or 2 P90 soapbar pickups. It doesn't sound that good when you play there, it sounds really bad, way too much treble.

  • so play on the rhythm part when it is turned to the rhythm?

  • well it depends, but that will sound pretty good. the best is to use both or us treble, but on your amp put the bass at about 2 o'clock, the mids at about 11 o'clock and the treble at about at 10 - 11 o'clock. Just adjust to what sounds best.

  • what if my amp only has overdrive and tone knobs?

  • what amp are you using

  • peavey 5 watts for peavey rockmaster

  • just adjust it until you get a good sound.

  • I don't do that, i think it sucks:D

  • why does it sound bad

  • Well I don't like that fat tone when i'm playing riff, I want the treble sound on my riffs, like many guitarplayers do...

And the rhythm pickup is often used for solo's on the high fretts, like slash does in some solos

  • treble is metal eh?

  • excellent..you play very well !

  • i have the same exact guitar with the 57's and everything... but mines cherry sunburst

  • can u please send me the tab for this!!

    by the way great playing!!

  • how would you rate this solo for difficulty (1 being the easiest, 10 being the hardest)

    Great job!!! 5*

  • its pretty easy maybe a 4

  • thanks!

  • no problem

  • yeah I'd definitely say 2 or 3

  • its fun to play though

  • probly about 4.

  • I have this amp, it's an amazing 30w tube amp combo.

  • you rock!

  • trying to play my ass

    u owned that man

  • freakin amazing awesome ,bravo

  • Wasnt that bad just were adding and missing some notes

  • great tone and playing!

  • who cares asshole

  • yea, dick.

  • anyone tryd the angus young humbuckers yet?? or heard anything about them?

  • duh my bad i see now.

  • what pickups r u using??? and amp??

  • it looks like some gibson 50's or sumthing pickups.

  • wow, freaking perfect man. nice guitar also

  • man your really good i was trying to learn the solo and used this as my referance haha your pretty good..

  • after the replacement of pickups whether changes in sound?

  • thats so cool

i was gonna get a fender tele but now im definatly getting a les paul

  • Would the Les Paul Stadard Plus make a good sound like Angus Young's SG with a Vox AD30VT?

  • I've never played a Vox AD30VT, but I can tell you using a LP you can get good angus tones too.

  • I've got both of them and you get an incredible tone - definitely recommended

  • [sorry, I don't speak english very well, but I can try.. xD]

''JCrocksmycock'', I can send you the tabs, if you want... what's your e-mail?

  • really good but needs a bit more distortion i think

  • wow nice job! check out my solo if u want

  • Could you send me the tabs please? That was great!

  • Sorry, but I didn't use tabs

  • @BluesZep Good man!

  • Could you please tell me...what is this color called? I wanna get one just like it.

  • It's honeyburst

  • best on youtube :) thank you for making me happy lol

  • Thanks, dude!!

  • love the guitar. sounds great.

  • nice

  • thanks!

  • on thats not as bad as i thought well they sound great

  • how much did those 57 gibson pickups cost you?

  • US$200

  • Have you ever thought of changing out the pickups with some nice seymour duncans to get some sice sustain thats what im planning to do when i head of to college just in case it gets jacked nice pick ups in and epi bit nice solo anyways :)

  • I've already tried some seymour duncans on this guitar('59 neck and bridge, and sh-11), and I prefer Gibson '57 classics. Just personal taste, because seymour duncans are rally great pickups!

  • 7.9080707987 thumbs up!

  • Thanks so much!!

  • cool video dude, check out mine and tell me how i can improve my playing.

  • OK, I'll check!

  • i & i tink zat was adight mon

  • missed some notes in the begingn but you where awsome

  • awesome!! wat kind of amp do u have?

is that an epiphone les paul?

  • Epiphone Les Paul Standard

    Gibson Classic '57 pickups

    Peavey Classic 30

  • to fazendo a mesma pergunta do outro post, pq nao sei ql vc vai ver primeiro =b

sempre tenho duvidas quanto a potencia maxima do drive do classic 30..

    eh maior do que esta?

se possivel faz um video demostrando ela, com acordes bem abertos.

    ficaria agradecido pra caramba, abraços.

  • Heh sweet dude i have the same guitar! Are there any pedals needed for this song because i keep fooling around with my fender frontman 25r and can't get the right sound.

  • It's just guitar and amp

  • need a marshall really as fender solidstates struggle to get AC DC tone. Try a boss sd1 (cheap £35ish)overdrive pedal and run your amps gain at just above half way. Should come reasonably close to this sort of tone. Roll back the bass to about a quarter and run treble close to full. Hope that helps

  • hey man great job just thro in some vibrato

  • Good job.

    O... and nice epiphone too.

  • sounds pretty good to me mate, well done. I play guitar too and i goota play this solo for my music exam thing lol

  • wow

  • good job bro! :D

  • Thanks, dudes!!

  • perfect tone!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that was great, man. keep on jammin!

  • Good work ;) keep on rocking dude :)

  • Very nice, note for note, ya?

  • great job mate ;)

  • great job mate ;)

  • man! you forgt to make the harmonix ..at the end of the first part of the solo..

  • cool i just got that very same guitar its was like $450 and it sounds great

  • how do you like the epiphone i dont have 1000 bucks and more for a gibson les paul do you like the epiphone

  • Hi, I like this Epi so much. Better pickups make her sound much better. I think it's a great guitar for the money.

  • where can i find this model

  • I think you can find this model on almost every guitar store. The model is: Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top

If you use to buy online, look for at musiciansfriend dot com, you can find it there.

  • thanks

  • very very good!!!check out my version...

  • awesome tone, how do you like that amp

  • Thanks!

I think Classic 30 is a great amp. Warm tones, and drive channel covers blues/classic rock to hard rock tones. And is too loud. Reverb is decent, very usable, and footswitchable. A speaker upgrade would be a good idea, but that's not essential. I'm pretty satisfied. For tones I want to play, I give it 5 stars.

  • How the fuck did you get that tone?

  • '57 classics coming into play dude.

  • nice! i <3 ur guitar!!! sounds great!

  • good job man just work on vibrato and timing

  • great sound, just more vibrato ,but good playing!

  • What color is that les paul and is just a plain standard or a standard plus top?

  • Hi, it's honeyburst, standard plus top. The video is crap, so you can't see the real color.

  • i still cant play that, but, u were pretty good, keep rockin!

  • nice playing! nice tone! I'm not trying to be an asshole but watch your timing on some parts..

  • Yes, you're right. Some parts aren't good, but i'm trying to improve. Thanks!!

  • how much was ur gibson??

  • its an epiphone, and they retail for about 400-500 dollars depending on the top.

  • Nailed it!

  • Cara, puta timbre!!! Vc trocou os caps desta Epiphone? Qual o modelo dela? Me parece que comprar uma Ep. LP e customizar a captação é uma bom negocio...

  • Valeu, cara... Os captadores dela são os Gibson Classic '57. O modelo dela é Les Paul Standard. Sinceramente, estou bastante satisfeito com ela. Essa captação dá outra vida pra guitarra, acho que vale a pena o investimento sim. Abraço!!

  • That was great, nice guitar too, what am you using? sounds awesome.

  • nice sound!!

  • awesome job dude, nice tone

  • nicely played your guitar looks great

  • Very nice tone and playing. Is your Epiphone a Plain Top or the flame maple Plus Top? Honeyburst?

  • Hi, thanks! My guitar is a Honeyburst Flamed maple top. The image is not good, doesn't correspond the real top tonality.

  • dude that was pretty sweet. and the tone of the guitar is awsome

  • Thanks a lot!
