All I can say is wow.. awesome job! Love the song too. I have been playing guitar Hero - Rock Band for a little over 2 years now and this just blows my mind. LOL Thanks for sharing :)
@MzGabbieNuNu I had to look back and now I'm laughing again too! lmmfao! I tried GH RB a dozen times or so and realized that I needed less practice to learn how to play a real guitar and now I got all the ladies... ; ) lol
Actually michael akerfeldt are very inspired by steven wilson aka porcupine tree! still obvious that they doesn´ t rip off eachother :P but i´ d heard stories about steven wilson helping opeth with some of their songwriting, make me think a little of Mustaine and Metallica back then! lol!
Eh, Steven Wilson produced THREE albums for Opeth.. And I think both Steven Wilson and Mikael Åkerfeldt has participated in each others bands. Not as a big role, but I think SW played a little mellotron or something with Opeth.
@OrgasmatronYYZ He wrote entire sections of a number of Opeth's songs. Story being basically that they were stressed out after a number of crazy things involving the studio they were working with and having already taken on production duties for the album he offered to help them out. The middle of A Fair Judgement is his, as are the keyboards on Deliverance and he did a fair bit on the Damnation album (mostly keyboards).
@OrgasmatronYYZ He also did the piano close on "Leper Affinity" and the chorus vocals on "Bleak" from the Blackwater Park album. There's several PT tracks and at least one Blackfield track which contain either leftover bits from his work with Opeth, or quite obvious reinterpretations of it (the bass on A Fair Judgement for example gets reused on the title track of Fear of a Blank Planet.)
hmm, it's pity that the frets are grey .. i would say some coloured frets would look nicer, bit of colour in all that grey... and also you could overview em more easy, but all in all its a quite interesting theme

frets on fire with rbx mod

Frets on Fire, a free game that is basically the same as GH & RB but you can play pretty much anything for free...
It is pretty buggy though, and it needs alot of customization before it plays as good as it does on this video...

This is Wrong, the group would never support this.

@lastlivingsoul09
The group also seem to be offended by iPods, so I don't trust their judgement.

i do like the theme....but the notes dont look very 3d...maybe its the fret view your using...but they are hard to see for me anyways...
and whats the visual difference between reg. and ho/po notes?
but other then that....i like it
Raskanally 2 years ago 3
Absolutely should work on distinction between notes but other than that i think it's beautiful.
