And yes a newer RB 26 engine will generally put out a better torque band than a rb20, it would probably rev more freely as well.

Boost lag. i had the same problem with my r33 gtst. blow off valve, choice of air filter, intercooler, exhaust, tyres, u can put all that into a car but dont expect it to be superfast. cause the inside of an engine matters as well. 187kw when it was stock and 205kw when i put everything in. didnt bother with ECU, forged internals, brake/fuel lines etc. this r32 sounded exactly like mine.

Judging by you're last answer, I'm sure you probably don't really know. It was because even though the R32 can put out numbers up to 500hp, doesn't mean its reponse is automatic. It was a 500hp vehicle with mass amounts of boost leg racing a 300hp vehicle tuned with barely any boost leg. Hope that helped you.

You shouldn't get deffected for that - you should contest. Alfa romeo's come standard with offset plates. The rules state that as long as you can see it from a certain angle from the centre of the car (cant remember angle value off head), but i am sure that r31 was ok though.
