  • I Think there is a problem with the foot and feet.!!!

  • oh i remember this problem.. i thought i dont know how to answer like this one! but hahaha maybe i did not use my brain that time.. but now, that is the easiest problem.. heheh :) thanx for uploading.. hope people who have problem in that problem will be guided//..

  • what c2 all about

  • real cute, I wish I was 60 years younger

  • How the hell she read the rest of the words behind her head from that angle w/o turning her skull??????????

  • i wish i could be that neat....

    thanks!!

  • she's nervous

  • Oh my god there is a much easier way to solve this..

  • 28! 28! i got it right 28!! haha

  • I recommend this excellent Math channel: ( Mathmatchpoint ) to everyone who wants to learn and understand Math better. He is going to teach you Math the EASY WAY, from the basic to the advanced topics. The great thing is that his videos are categorized within playlists. It is easy to know which video to watch next. This was the least I could do for him (let people know about his videos). Thanks to him, I got 97% on my Math test.

    Go to his channel: Mathmatchpoint

    Math will become easy

  • She's cute.

  • i like how she draws perfect lines lol

  • root of skquared x is + and minus x

  • OmG your the best senpai i just meededto kno how to get x

  • this stuff is so easy. who could not get this?!?!?

  • @TheHammerhead16 me :(

  • this stuff is so easy.

  • Please get a more up to date hairstyle darling...

  • its nice that i get it now thank you but she kind of sounds like a robot.

  • or you subtract 21 from 35 and double it............long way around the barn lady

  • i love her

  • It's not cool to criticize a person when they actually help you.

  • this is so fake and gay

  • she look so sceary in ending part

  • If i were a teacher, i'd play this shit and not teach. makes my job eeaasy

  • how do i know about the developement of children? i was one myself !who had my troubles understanding because i wanted to know why? am i doing this? whats is its purpose! and i did a lot of research into the philosophy of mathematics and its connection with art and science, and i started to know some of why? what i discovered was much more interesting than what was thrown at me in school the bare bones method of teaching math. interest is a prime factor in deep retention.peace

  • that shit is not free fucker

  • try "Educator.com" The lessons are more concise and further more it's for free like what knowledge should be. The site offers Phd class teachers breaking the boundaries of poverty through globalization.

  • My teacher do not know this...

  • @DEivoStating that's just sad

  • My teacher do not know this...

  • My teacher do not know this..

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks , i get it now

  • you're such a neat-freak...

  • @iloveyoucity Isn't i a good thing to be neat ? I'd rather be neat,than sloppy..

and most people tell me i have a good writing but, not as good as hers..so that kinda offended me though..

  • you do know that most kids learn to do this when they are in the 6th-7th grade or 10-12 years old.

  • @Lesfaundez that may be true outside the traditional school system in the US but at the same time kids might learn to do it but do they really understand the full ramifications of one of the greatest math discoveries of all time! dont take my word for it look it up! read what pythagorus said he did when he discovered it! and he was one of the greeks most famous mathematicians period! who also studied with the ancient egyptians geometers in egypt along with other great greek mathematicians .

  • @truscorpion It means they forget...you don't do it everyday you forget...thought that was simple enough to understand. And of course they don't understand, why do they care. Do you know anything about the mentality of a developing preteen? Do you really think a ten year old child is going to completely grasp the concept? So perhaps it isn't so "crazy" that people come later in a life to really look into it. You seem to know lot about math, but how do you know about the development of children

  • Seriously the fact that too many people search on the internet for something so simple like the pythagorean theorem is ridiculous....I assume that either the teachers in US are dumb as fuck,or the student's intelligence has been dramatically reduced.I cannot imagine how confused you would be if you were taught about interpolations and conic sections...

  • @666Metallas555 When you work day after day, year after year in a monotonous, braindead job, some of the stuff you learned in school slips from your mind.

  • She sounds like Trisha Takanawa from Family Guy.

  • She seems smart and an excellent teacher but don't ever buy a ladder from her! I guesstimate that the rungs of that ladder are approximately 6 feet apart!!!

  • she says building funy

  • wow thats a small building =/

  • Oops! I meant the base is 21' and still very dangerous.

  • A ladder should be placed so that its base is one foot away from what the ladder leans against for every four feet in height to the point where the ladder rests. This is referred to as the four-to-one rule. For example, if a 16 foot ladder leans against a wall, its base should be placed four feet from the wall.

This means that a 35 foot ladder should not be placed more than (35/4)', or 8'8, from a wall. Since the base is 28', this is an unsafe use of this ladder and could lead to injury.

  • @hugstablebear LOL. This is a hypothetical math problem, not a home renovation instruction video.

  • @gamestop86

She makes it look harder than it is:

    21 = 7 X 3

    35 = 7 X 5

Therefore this is just a 3,4,5 triangle multiplied by 7,

    and hence the other side is 4 X 7 = 28.

    Because 5X5 - 3X3 = 4X4 or 25 - 9 = 16.

  • i love this girl

  • Wow. I thought the pythagorean theorem was hard. But it is not. Thanks!

  • she acts like a robot...O.O

But i get it now thanx!

  • Someone has probably already mentioned this, but in the problem it says nothing about the building being vertical and the grund horizontal so that they form a 90 degree angle... The problem is therefore unsolvable, unless you make this (unsupported) assumption.

  • in all fairness it does say pythagorean word problems, basically the backbone of right triangle solving? so she shouldnt need to mention the angle

  • @morganandreason The assumption is supported by the fact that buildings are designed to be perpendicular to the ground, with very few exceptions. It is the exceptions that would need to be identified, not the norm.

  • how did she get 28?

  • because the square root of 784 is 28

  • this is easy im in year 8 and i can do this . Piece of piss LOL

  • extension ladders are never sold in odd foot increments, so it can only be 34 or 36 feet. In any case, you need to draw more rungs on the ladder as there are rungs every foot. :)

  • ohhemmgee thhis was so easy i never get this in school but i got 28 in like a whole lot quicker than i wouldve in class thnx

  • WOW SHE HAS THE NEATEST WRITING EVER

  • PAWNED!

  • hi

    out there

  • easy

  • Now if they just taught this to me at school in the way that was shown here. I would have done alot better.

  • isnt this basics? you dont get it in sch tt means u dont pay attention or you teacher really sucks lol

  • OMFG, took about 5 seconds to get 28 without working out, have to be retarded not to understand this.

  • She knows too much. She is an alien

  • i like my math class bettter cus of my hot teacher

  • its too bad.

she spent all that time to teach us something we already knew.

  • wow..i did shit like this when i was la 12-13

  • 4 real she glides what the fuck is this?

  • i was bored and i knew that all i needed was some youtube and yes your videos have been keeping me entertained

  • After watching this, it call came back to me. Thank you.

  • Her death stare have got me hooked, she must be a witch :D

  • 0:40 , she glides!!! :O

  • omfg wtf, you bitches that need help for this ism done for lmao!

  • this is so easy dam...

  • ok this has helped me out so much.

    thank u!!!!

  • its potentially confusing that you plug in 21 for A, 35 for C, and x for B. for example, someone might ask why you cant do (21)^2 + (35)^2 = X^2

  • Because felixcat009 you're wrong. "(21)^2 + (35)^2 = X^2 " If you use the variables you would not have done that mistake. The leanth 35 is the variable C ffs. The correct ekvation is 35^2-21^2=X^2. Are you a moron??

  • No worries, i know how to do the pythagorean theorem. Im just saying it could be potentially confusing based on what she said in the video.

  • theres 3 minutes of my life ill never get back...

  • She has no emotion or personality at all and it's soooooo funny!!!

  • Because Math has not emotion and personality. Take a Drama or theatre to get emotion and personality. Good Luck.

  • What if the building is not an upright one?

Maybe the ladder is on the side of the leaning tower of pisa? Hey that's a building too.

  • ha!

  • then it wont be a right angle anymore. :) unless the building is leaned too much that the vertex formed by the building and the ladder is a right angle. haha okay i didnt have to say that. :P

  • HAHAHA good one. Thumbs up =p

  • which will never happen you need an infinite length of ladder to achieve if i may say achieve because if infinite does not exist then there is no actual solution to your perpendicular angle theory

  • useful to know, but a construction master pro calculator can tell you the same in a few clicks of the buttons.

  • I want to throw something at her :))

  • thanks so much this helped me alot!!!!

  • holy fuck farts this is hard

  • Thats a pretty shitty ladder...

  • ummm is she high??

  • This thing is so confusing.

  • i would like to point out that this stuff is not easy for everyone, i know it, however many others don't.

as for sktre43 who said this is such a waist, well its not i have taken everything from algebra to calculus 3 it comes up alot...

and finaly this is also a 3 4 5 triangle all the sides are in a ratio of 3 4 and 5 take the small side devide by 3 you get 7, take the large side which is a multiple of 5 and you get 7 that leaves 4 multiply by 7 and you get 28

  • Everyone knows that already >.>

I derived that theorem by myself from scratch when I was 6 while attempting to construct my first object hit-test simulator for irregular objects. Duh!!!

  • And every child constructs a object hit-test simulator by the age of six? No, they don't.

  • i feel smart because im not even old enough to learn this at school yet.... my brain feels awsome yet full of information

  • i used to think that.. but then i took viagra

  • i started to love maths!!! Now, i learn maths from youtube :)

  • dAt wAs cOol...it aiN't bOrin' fOh mE..

  • that is a big ladder

  • You're a retard.

  • lmsao

  • so lameboring

  • even a 10 year old can solve atleast 5 of these in the time used to explain it.

  • Trust me, I asked. My twelve year-old sister can't figure this out.

  • Whoever said your sister wasn't dumb

  • Wow wtf this must be for retards... and wheres the MILF that i was looking for?

  • have you guys ever considered that there are some people just starting to review the p t.

  • if u find this troubling u are a moron

  • wow u guys are cool. if its so easy then why did u click on it.

  • i do her thowe lol

  • is she a moron

    17.5 middle up

    lenth 10.5

    add borth

    i got

    10.5 feet lenth

    35 divard 2=17.5 hight

    21. divard 2= 10.5

    add the two 28.00

what the hell is she doing with all that bull shit write for

  • i can do this in my sleep

  • dude this is easy stuff...lool

  • easy...:)

  • people that find this problem hard are really gay stupid faggots cuz its the easiest geometry problem ... try teh 3D (in space) problems.

  • wow 100,000+ views =p

  • Yikes! Story problems.

  • easiest prob ever

  • ur so sexy mama

  • Można by było też skorzystać z funkcji trygonometrycznych.

  • iight i take it back =.=

  • Takav "problem" FER-ovac riješi dok otresa kurac nakon pišanja.

  • nice...tutorial

  • I'm impressed at how polished this is, but she skipped the important step of assigning a meaning to her letters a,b,c. Students repeating the exercise on their own will have to ask themselves a question---which of a,b,c is the hypotenuse---that she may not have prepared them for.

  • For her to skip such important step, I must say that she must be assuming that all viewers already know about the Pythagorean theorem. But then again that problem is ridiculously too basic for those who already know about the theorem.

  • The solution to a squared term in an equation is +/- the solution. That is, x= 28, -28. Interesting. Also, whoever said the triange wasn't a right triangle doesn't know what they are talking about.

  • I want to explain that there is no negative distance so the value -28 is not considered since there is no negative distance. In regards with the right triangle i agree with you.

  • I'm bored!

  • very educational !

  • She has really nice handwriting!

  • pythagorean theorem doesnt have the term "x" in it, it uses c^2=a^2+b^2 lol

  • Sameer3292: It doesn't matter what letters you use, they're just variables. Theoretically, I could use (smilie-face)^2 + (frowning-face)^2 = (surprised-face)^2.

  • lol i know i was just kiddin :]

  • It is a little arrogant to assume the building is built straight.

  • Yeah, but what about : 1 foot ladder at 1 foot distance? ;)

  • the theorem is not applicable here since you will have a special triangle and not a right triangle.

  • A right triangle is a special case of the general triangle with one of its angles equal to 90 degrees. So it IS a right triangle, that is 3rd grade material, you need to revise.

  • hehe No :P move to the 1:01 min. You will see that she marked the wrong distance. This is not 21 ft. This is 21 ft + the width of the building ;)

  • she is marking the distance between the base of the ladder and the base of the building.

I don't understand why there is so much controversy over this video.

  • She did a mistake! Guess where

  • sqrt(X^2) could be either +28 or -28..

    i.e, 28 feet above ground , or 28 feet underground...ha..ha..ha.

  • That's what I was thinking!!!!! haahahahahahahaha, sqrt(x^2) = abs(x). It's good that they have videos to help special people.

  • this chick is sooo hot.

  • you suck

  • Learning must be banded on YOUTUBE!!!!!!!!

  • a^2+b^2=c^2 has saved my ass on many a calculus quiz.

    OK, that's a lie.

But still, the Pythagorean theorem is important. This, however, is probably not how I would go about teaching it (Youtube, that is, not the content of the video).

  • I agree. Heaven forbid we should learn something on YouTube.

  • 21+35=56/2=28 dont complicat the kids head

  • Dx this is too easy

  • I find it humorous that Americans are still using the Imperial system of measurements.

  • I find it humorous that Irish are cunts about differences that don't matter.

  • haha look at her little grin at the way end after she solves the problem...haha what an utterly complete faggot!

  • ya lol

  • she needs a dick in her LOL

  • for ppl from 7-9 years

  • Is this for complete retards or what? I learned it in basic shool at the age of 9.

  • wow~~this lesson is so difficult!!

    lol

  • El Teorema de pitagoras.. es Facil.. pogan! problemas! universitarios! si no!...

  • is this video for retarded people?

  • maybe it's for grade 1-3 kids.

  • y bother doin it with such effort :S

    it s just (3*7)^2 + (x*7)^2 = (5*7)^2

from 3-4-5 triangle it is obvious that its 28. i mean come on.

  • this lesson is around whether or not they can square large numbers, but its focus is on understanding the pythag thm. so if a student does struggle with squareing on his/her own, that shouldn't hold them back.

  • are u stupid? it's so easy 3-4-5 triangle..

  • !!!!!!!!!

    True

  • Most teenage boys are too thick to even understand the basics. But thats ok, the world needs ditch diggers too.

  • xaxax Nice u remember me the year at high school.

  • This girl is such a slutbag, and her dad's black and gay.
