In the biography of silent screen star Ramon Novarro (he starred in "Ben-Hur" in 1925) it said that he was hired to play a priest on the Wild Wild West and he almost got fired off of the set because he couldn't stop staring at Robert Conrad because he was so breathtakingly handsome.

Yes. He had a high temple concussion with a six inch cranial fracture of the skull. Conrad was supposed to jump off a balcony, grab a chandelier, and land on the bad guy. The other stunt man was late and he fell 15 feet, landing on his neck and head.
check it out ...i spot mel brooks, & elisha cook jr, also in this video!! conrad landed on his head on the concrete floor after the chandelier swing. production halted for 3 months while he recovered from a cracked skyll & concussion!!
