Thank great video. I'm trying to self teach myself the language. I was using a free website and strugged to understand godan verbs, but you've really cleared things up for me. I just can't imagine how I'm going to memorise all the kanji though as there is almost one for every single word and verb, and they all look so detailed to hard to tell them apart sometimes.
Nice and usefull video but what about verbs when japanese use forms like "oyoide imasu", "aruite imasu" or whatever, are the same verbs but is difficult to know what they do with oyogu and aruku in this case.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I was wanting to know this since FOREVER!!! xD my japanese teacher never explained it well and neither did the game I found or the sites. My friend did and now combined with your teaching I think I can do Japanese 11 :D THANK YOU SOOOO MUUUUUCHHH!!!!!
Can I ask you a quick question. In one of your slides you say that hanasu means - to speak. Then when you have conjugated it you say it means - I have. I'm confused by this as I speak, as "to speak" and "I have" are two very different meanings. Is this a mis-print or am I missing the point? :)
That you for taking such a complex subject and making it more digestible.

What about the informal present negative form? For example, how do you say "arukimasen" in an informal way? Do you say aruken?

Why do't make it narrative? It is too boring to read.
