@BrownMaterial the battery life is only 15 mins so it wouldn't go for miles but you can buy extended battery life for it.

A few ideas for improvement.

I think there could be better ways to control the craft...to have a more refined and persist control. It would be cool to build a "cockpit" not unlike the predator uses. There would be at least three screens.

I'd want to significantly extend the range. I think the range of 150ft sucks. I'd add a long antenna and an incoming and out going signal amp to do this. then I'd put an antenna on the roof. It'll be cool as hell if I could fly this baby several miles away!

NO! they do not have liqued cams...

the iPods have a rolling shutter instead of full frame, so the slight viberations do that. Like on some cameras, moving makes eerything like tilt, if u know what i mean. Its wobbly...

But if u want to see exactly real time, and around corners, then use the built in cameras. Search for AR drone on youtube, and see people seeing through the lie spy cam.
