This was the first dance at my wedding - loved it so much. I'm only 28 and I can say that they don't make music like this anymore. I think I was born in the wrong era, lol.
@pianomasterChris Haha I downloaded both of these around x-mas too, but I'm definitely gonna buy them because theyre both very good movies. Dillinger robbing banks and Spies peeling nazi scalps. Just awesome movies.
Seriously... know how you feel... enough with the spam. Saw this movie at a better venue - the movie theatre, not some stinking and stupid site. Own the movie now.
wow that is incredible but you know there are speculations that he was never killed and that it was a "stand in" person that was shot instead of dillinger.. who knoes though really..it would be nice though to just be able to think that he did get away and that maybe got back to billie.
Eddie Cantor did this song originally. This is a slower version. Eddie had a number of hits and there was a movie made on his vaudville start. I believe the movie came out in 1954 and starred Keith Brasselle as Eddie Cantor in The Eddie Cantor Story.
As I can see, we have different opinions about the movie: where is the problem?
I appreciated actors (MC, JD and others) and some songs, like this one.
I dont do what you say. My question about sniffing about John Dillinger is simply an historic question: he is very excited, maybe too much. That's all. Bye
average movie, very good actors: not just JohnnyD./JohnnyD., but MarionCotillard/BillieFrechette too : maybe she is here better than him, in my opinion. I was thinking if John Dillinger used to sniff cocaine.
to each his or her own opinion... but i was very impressed with the movie. i don't go to a movie to see how close to reality they can make it, i go to be entertained. just call me a romanticist i guess...
Real life Dillinger was a dumbarse-a criminal--and not a very bright one at that. As for criminals having a code of conduct-tell that to the innocent people they shot. All it , having a code of conduct did, was get himself killed-proof to what i ascertain-he was not very bright. Only nice part was the song-why glorify murderers who could have killed you or a member of your family etc. Ahh, shot him in the back of his head was too nice, he should have swung from the gallows.
actually... if you look closer into history, the man they shot was not dillenger. they released the autopsy showing that the man they shot had brown eyes, dillenger had blue. The man they shot had scars on his heart from rheumatic fever, there was never any record of john dillenger ever having suffered. they say the man who played john in the movie "dillenger" actually beared more resemblence than the man they shot. he was VERY bright, even thought that doesn't make him morally correct.

acting was not good-too far fetched. very unrealistic. music was nice but dillinger came across as a brainless twit(as the role he played) In real life one would have shot her and saved himself-take no prisoners so to speak. Actually, the film was a disappointment.
your an idiot. The escape scenes and his death were the only fairly historically accurate parts of the film Out of all the historically inaccurate parts of the film, you pick on the few that were true. He really did blast his way in and out of the Indiana State Prison, your wrong Dillinger was not a common criminal, he was cruel but he also had honor and loyalty to his friends. Babyface Nelson was the incorrible criminal. Dillinger was evil but he had a code of conduct which made him famous
