vettes are for people who want to save 20 grand, have a daily driver with great power, but if you want a car to brag about - you get a viper over a vette.. sorry. vettes do have power, yes.. but the viper wins, hands down, always will.. once the vette over heats, it's dead.. alluminum = shit for a performance car, it disperses heat wonderfully, but can't take extreme ammounts of heat for long.

dude vipers are nice, however considering they have over 600 hp, they are actually quite slow. A new corvette is affordable and one of the best american cars ever built. Considering vettes have so much less hp and torque than a viper its amazing how well they perform against the viper. but another selling factor is its much easier and cheaper to upgrade a chevy engine like an ls1 than a vipers motor. But me, Ill stick with older cars... good ole oldsmobile 442! and hello 2009 challenger!

No. The first C5 Z06 was equipped with a 425 BHP LS6. The second version of the C5 Z06 was equipped with a 455 BHP LS6. The C6 Z06 is currently equipped with a 505 BHP LS7. There has never been a higher output option for the Z06. With your logic, the Viper starts at 450 BHP and goes to "600+" (612 BHP). Also, the Viper is dead, the 'Vette lives on.

and no, the vipers only have one engine choice.. a 600 horsepower v-10. on all the stat charts the viper beats the vette on 0-60, 20-60, quarter mile, 0-200 (the vette can't do 200 stock), umm what else? half mile, one mile, 100-150. etc.

Learn to read. I typed that if I were to use you're logic about the Z06, I could state that the Viper starts with 450 BHP and goes to 612 BHP. And the first Z06 actually had 405 BHP, not 425 BHP as previously stated.

konacam..you need to get your facts straight because that cobra isnt supercharged. Ford didnt supercharge the 96-98 svt cobra (as the one in this video). The cobra would get spanked because of 0-60 time of only 5.4 vs the Challenger's 4.9..quarter mile the cobra 14.0 flat and the challenger 13.3. Get your facts straight before you start mouthing all over mopar..

What the hell are you talking about ? The Challenger is a great looking car, and nice remnake. It can also run with the best of em. But the Cobra is supercharged and is putting out 425hp at least, who knows what else the guy has done to it. The challenger would get his lunch eat.
