There's nobody named Val in the song!! Tracey is supposed 2 be dating a guy named Jim, but she has been secretly dating Jim's unnamed brother. Meanwhile, that unnamed brother is supposed to be dating Tracey's little sister named Sue, but he's secrtetly dating Tracey!! Thus the line "I won't tell him 'bout you, don't tell her about me." There's a whole lotta cheatin' going on, and this ain't even country music!! ;+).

It's a great song - but I've been driven mad by mis-hearing the last line of the chorus - and this song doesn't appear in any lyrics sites, as far as I can discover! It sounds like "I won't tell if I be don't tell her about me". Does anyone know what she's really singing?!?
