Hi, what set up did you use to hit 125mph ?? Tinkermanrc told me an 11x12 with 50-55 600kv... Tim has helped me a lot with my setups. Just wanted to see what you used.

If you shave down a 12x12 prop to an 11x12 you will hit mid 120's to 130.

Nice plane ask around see what people think about the e-flight power90 or 110 with a 8-10 cell pack, if your going to do it, do it right and try to rip the wings off the thing! well thats my motto anyway!

Too much prop! Try an11x8 or a 7 cell or both!

I see you are running a 600kv motor,12x10 prop 6cell..at 105mph,and 107mph.

Im gonna be running a Eflite Power 46 670kv,12x12 apc prop,and a 5cell ,4000mah battery,I wonder if mine will be in the low 100mph with a 5cell on it?

@dbgood100 : It'll be close. But I think you're going to need a 6 cell to get the power you need to hit 100mph +.

I have see a pilot from Horizon hobby flying it at a neat fair,

with a power 46,5cell,12x12 prop,

and it was pretty fast..

So i shall see next week.

Looks cool man, Try a 11x11 prop, it should take the speed up a bit... possibly a 11x12 (if they make one)

@ministeve2003 : After switching motors and running on a 14x12 and a 16x10, Im now getting better than 125mph. In fact, just picked up the Eagle Tree airspeed recorder for some nice accurate speed readings. Thanks for the comment and suggestion!
