  • one person understands that ALL CARS can kill people!

  • its up to the ppl who restors them .to make it saf i did mine i costed a whopping 30$ and an hour in my driveway

  • These cars are over FORTY years old. Anyone who drives or gets in one should know they are death traps in the event of an accident. If you want a safe Mustang buy a new one. The new Mustangs have received a five star safety rating from the NHTSA.

  • They do sell aftermarket safe fuel tanks now for these cars. I crashed a 1968 mustang 390 (totalled the front end) but luckly it did not damage the back where the tank is located. Perhaps when I restore the car again, I will construct a wall between the seat and the tank... or buy one the the safe fuel tanks from National Parts Depot Magazine.

  • Just because we have never seen or heard of an automaker doing it, doesn't change that fact that it should be done. If they would have recalled it in the first place they wouldn't have to worry about it now.

  • dumb bitch needs to stop putting blame on others and get over it. ford isnt going to fix a 40 year old car

  • @moisespjr

    Amen to that
