love corey haim so much i dont blame him for any of the stuff that he did as he was just a kid what a beautiful man inside and out he was taken far to early from us ! my lifetime crush was/is mr corey haim ! RIP sweet angel ! :* my thoughts are with you ! xxxxx
I think what makes this movie such a cult classic is the narration Christopher Collet gives at the beginning of the film. I can remember when this film came out and many critics claimed it was pretty much tongue in cheek and "it will never happen". The irony is it is happening. "They were consumed with greed....they borrowed more money than they could ever repay...." It's interesting to see how much similarity there is in the plot of this film with "the crash" as it is referred to.
@truesouljs At first everyone suspected that he had died of an overdose, considering his history, but even two days after he died, it was noted that there was something wrong with his heart, lungs, and blood vessels. He had a fever the day before and was experiencing flu like symptoms. After the final results came back, more than a month later, it was discovered that he died of blood vessel issues, heart issues, and pneumonia. He did have drugs in his system, but they did not cause his death.
Corey had it all, those lips made me notice boys that looked so juicy to kiss. oh how I miss those lips. Brieftly noticed LLcool J's lips afterwards but came back to Corey's. Miss ya Corey and your amazingly sexy lips. mmm good
Thanks for uploading! I bought this movie 3 days ago on dvd because of your upload. Great movie of a great time with a great corey haim (R.I.P).One of my specials in childhood.THANX
I'm looking for anymore post-apocalyptic/dystopian rollerskating movies anyone can think of. I have Prayer for the Rollerboys, Solar babies, Roller Blade, Roller Blade Seven, Return of the Rollerblade Seven, Legend of the Roller Blade Seven, Rollerball and the reamke, and Future Sport. Can anyone name another?
Im goin to put this in my plist but i dont know why they take off wit da quickies Good Flick bring back memories of the yung ole days no bills i miss dat shit
its a shame harldy any of coreys great films are available here in the uk unless for a stupid price including licence to drive why is that. this is one of my faves from back in the day
I was kind of pissed, actually, because I was looking at pics from his films on Yahoo and they didn't show this. I was like, Hey, wait a minute...Where's Prayer of the Roller Boys? Sure I like his other movies, but I liked this one, too! Hopefully, more people will discover this, though... It's a good movie.
@MassTransit999 and it sucks that something bad had to happen to him in order for people to realize that. the beginning where the guy is talking about "barrowing more money than the adults could pay back" is so true on what's going on in today's economy.
I have not seen this movie in ages...was pretty weird. But Corey Haim at this time was at the top of his career. Thanks for posting this...brings back many memories..
Thanks everyone for all your comments. This is very sad news indeed. A special thanks to Corey for all the laugh and entertainment he's been giving us throughout his movies. R.I.P Corey Haim
The reason this movie sucks now is because it's a poorly done movie that suffers from a low budget and rollerblading was a fad that died with the release Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
guys watch this= livi skate party 09 on you tube the guy at 1.50 falls huge fall he is a local legend here u gotta watch him sk8 we have this party everyyear
i can also remember a very similiar film iv been looking for its around about a 90s film the gang run around on blades/skates and they make an epic jump to get away from the bad guys at the end over a huge cliff or canyon does any1 know the name of it???????iv been looking for ages
i dont remember all i remember was it was on blades or sk8s and the epic jump at the end it was a weird film i only liked it for the blades part but ever since i cant remember the name the blades where a gang trying to get away from some1 the more i think of it it might have a sphere
got me a pair of old lightnings 2 years ago this new blades cant compare. gary lee is right the adults are the one' making the future harder for us with thier greed in this country u work just to live and cant get buy u cant and save marketing schemes leave u wanting and buying more.

This movie concept is based on "The Wild Boys: A Book of the Dead" by William S. Burroughs.
Though that book centered on homicidal homosexual teens on rollerskates usually wearing only jockstraps.
