  • Amazing! Manics and Ian McCulloch, and such a beautiful song!

  • great

  • Awesome!

  • The 'Never Stop' section... Genuine classic Manics moment :)

  • This is just FAB! Full stop.!

  • Classic collaboration

  • Fucking awesome, Mac is a legend, as are the Manics. Love them all! Brilliant!

  • One of my favorite bands and one of my favorite singers on the same stage singing together. Love it!

  • fucking brilliant

  • can anyone tell me what the song is about i get its about somone dying but is there anymore to it?im having this played at my funeral i love it that much, easily their best song for me.

  • @northman34 based on a tree...life coming, life going...i suspect it's about richey in reality

  • @hyllaf yeah...and richey's favourite band was echo and the bunnymen, so maybe thats the reason they wanted mac on the song

  • Wicked tune & wicked lyrics !!

  • Hey Ian! Nice mullet! = P

  • Fantastic!.... Best single I've heard since I am kloots Northern Skies.

  • @stuckin1968 OMG I dont belive you said that!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me too - I adore that song so much xxx

  • @emilybronte2005 Yeah they are both great songs...... Its just a shame that they barely charted, even after getting tons of airplay on Radio 2.

  • The manics for number one, instead of X factor and all that other industry pap. Please buy this single and join: Manics & Ian McCulloch for Christmas Number 1. Real Music! Facebook group.

  • So glad they were voted britains most loved band :D

    Great song :)

    Fuck the haters.

  • Nice to see Ian with the Manics. I am sure they are both fans of each other.

  • song of the year, album of the year, they never gave up..........

  • Cat Southall, blonde backing singer - Pure Class!....check her out at saltheband co uk

  • i always have and always will love the manics! and james is hot! :D

  • JDB and Ian Mac are both top men. Anyone who hasn't got anything better to do than hate over the internet isn't worthy of freedom of speech.

  • If I'm being honest, I thought that this was one of the best tracks on the new album. With or without Richey, the Manics are a top quality band and have never lost the ability to write about subjects that matter instead of all the shite in the charts now.

  • great tune. remember that to say what you like reveals more about you as a person than to say what you don't like.

  • This is great. No matter your opinion of the Manics, you cannot deny they are fearless, and always willing to take chances, unlike 95 percent of what passes for 'music' in this "the era of fascist numbskulls".

  • yo the manics are the best

  • these things dont happen very often....just enjoy a collaboration of gods....jools show is about the only time you get great live music nowadays...watched this clip at least 20 times its fantastic

  • I can never understand why arguments happen on here. Ian McCulloch and the Manics are performing together, which suggests a high level of mutual respect, which everyone else should have

  • Brilliant, infact.......fucking greatness!!

  • this song never fails to give me goosebumps, just awesome

  • @timcardy123 Hew don't call Bradfield fat, he's a way better singer than Ian & always will be................. 3:15 is funny shows how bad he actually is

  • @wolves4life93 agreed, Mac's voice is shot, he can't even remember the words to his own songs, never mind this pile of shite.

To say the fat plumber is a good singer is ludicrous. But if there was no McCulloch, there'd be no Manics, there's a thought.

And the drummer wears leather gloves, another reason to despise them. I still can't believe no one's mentioned that missing bloke yet, the only thing that adds any interest to this group. (Not to me though.)

  • @timcardy123 you're a fucking retard mate, no one gives a shit about yr comments so piss off.

  • @robmanic I agree , what a waste of god's time putting him here on this earth. The Manic's are the ONLY decent group we have left...

  • @robmanic yet you feel the need to comment?

  • @timcardy123 someone needs to tell you, id rather not suffer idiots commenting on videos they dont give a shit about

  • Comment removed

  • @timcardy123 Hmm, clearly you aren't a fan of the Manic Street Preachers, fine, but your reference to one of their band mates as 'that missing bloke' is pretty spiteful and your statement that this band are devoid without Richey Edwards is ignorant

  • @oogie11 , sorry, you misunderstood. They were shite with Ritchie too, just slightly more interesting. Maybe it was the McCulloch style hair-do?

  • @timcardy123 Well, I don't agree with your point at all....with Richey Edwards, they had the abiltiy to sing about challenging subjects from anorexia to the Americanisation of countries etc Maybe you're not that into rock music, I assume

  • @oogie11 no hes into commenting on videos he "doesn't like" cos he has nothing better to do, which is fairly sad really. hes a britpop fan i would assume, hes got the intelligence of one anyway.. ye richie had a mccullough hair do? that isn't as bad as straight up ripping off dave bowie like the bunnymen did

  • @robmanic Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion...everyone likes different bands, and of course, some people will dislike the Manic Street Preachers in the same way that I really dislike Phil Collins etc...Richey's hairdo is cool to me, I've always liked it, hmm...ha ha, aaah, well, if you're going to rip off someone, may as well be Bowie ha ha, well, I like all of them, Bowie, Bunnymen and Manics :)

  • @wolves4life93 are you retaded...is he fuck better than ian mcculloch- you must be deaf!!

  • Can't wait until the 26th of October :D !

  • FANTASTICAAAAAA!

  • สุดยอด

  • i would giv Ian my home,,and i bet he could buy your home ten times over, derrr

  • What a load of twaddle, your better than this Mac.

  • I have been a fan of the Manics since I saw them play in 1992, and have seen them many times live, but watching this utter crap is beyond disappointing. I do not have any idea what they're trying to achieve with this. The backing singers, digging up IanMcCulloch, the MOR leaning sound, and the weakness of the performance. Sorry guys, you have lost your way entirely....

  • Looking forward to hearing this on the Manics' tour.

  • I fucking love Ian McCulloch. Not as much as l love the Manics, though. The ONLY problem with this performance is that it doesn't as big as it should, but that's just down to production.

I'm sure Ian and the Manics have alot of mutual respect, so everyone just stop bitching

  • both artists are good, there, now shush up arguing people

  • Ian is about a million times cooler than anyone else on that stage and he can make a decent band like MSP seem cool just by simply being in their general vicinity. I love the hurling of vituperative comments at Mac.... yeah right guys. No , actually you're all right I too wish Mac were more like that dorky Squiggy clone from Laverne and Shirley dancing around the stage.

  • i loved this, fuck the haters.

  • Who is the homeless guy singing? :P

  • @trebor80 Which one?!

  • Ian is a singer, it's difficult for him to get himself heard over that fat, shouting guitarist and the god awful choir.

  • @timcardy123 fat shouting guitarist? oh you mean the singer with 10 albums with MSP and his own solo album? your just making yourself look a fool mate

  • @KardiffFan99 ....so, the fat fuck has made plenty of albums, so has Phil fucking Collins, what's your point? And you're a Cardiff fan, says it all. Cock.

  • Mac adds the rawness to this polished production. Cool!

  • Electric song from a mighty fine album, but I cant help noticing Ian McCulloch's poor timing in places.

  • Great performance from the Manics, pity about Ian sounding as bad as he does

  • Great stuff, brilliant performance. Ian looks cool too.

  • *waves* Nice job on the vocals Cat!

  • @timcardy123 he is priviledged.

  • @timcardy123 Ian McCulloch sounds awful live so lol just lol

  • @timcardy123 Idiot....

  • @manicstreetsaint , well thought out, well done.

  • Fucking Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

  • I DID cry - incredible!

  • @kedevlin1 It's a good song, and everyone seems to dislike it for some reason, ah well...

  • WWHHOOAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Amazing. Almost cried.

  • Absolutely bloomin brilliant! Could be a number 1?!

  • Thanks for sharing!
