they started off production as a 848cc engine with like 30+bhp but coz it weighed like 6/10 or six tenths of a tonne it handled like a racing car which caught the eye of john cooper, which then created the "Mini Cooper"..  And also im pretty sure a lot of mini's wer shipped to australia aswell and were Built to be sold out there so it aint like you all hate them :)

I raced the Busa Mini in my ZT260 4.6litre V8 and I beat it! yeah but only because he stalled on the line. I will never forget the rear view mini of my car as I was BLASTING for the horizon and yet getting caught at one hell of a rate of knots by an old style mini!
