I have a asus eee 900a with the new intel atom 1.7 ghz prosscer for $230 it runs counter strike, quake 3, and a countless number of other great games at almost full speed if not full speed. I have Windows 2000 running on it but had xp with a boot up of less than 30 seconds. When I first got it I was impressed by how small it was but was dissipointed with the keyboard. After use for about an hour and on my desktop for an hour the keyboard no longer became an issue. This is the perfect umpc

i think the eeepc's are shit, they are too small to be eficient. To small to browse the net, play games, write a word document or chat on a im. It's a pointless piece of hardware
