Ronald Reagan was a great man indeed! A++ The hippies and the freaks were absolutely worthless. The hippies and the freaks did not do a dam thing for America! The hippies and the freaks cost the taxpayers millions of dollars do to the willful and malicious destruction and defacement of public and private property that the hippies and the freaks were responsible for. in addition, millions of dollars were spent on police to protect public and private property from the hippies and freaks!

Also.. interesting anomaly for a silent reel..

At :19 there is the sounds of a baby crying if you turn it way up.

Must of had a mic 'semi;' active when you transfered the reel to digital or something.

This WAS a silent movie. It was filmed on an 8mm movie camera. I don't remember when I converted it to digital but I haven't had a baby in the house for 25 years. I think that I converted it in the last 10 years. I did hear the baby crying but I don't recognize it as one of mine. Strange things do happen.

Sorry, this was not my protest. I was in the US Army at the time. I happened to be in Washington, DC, saw the protest and decided to film it.  I also am a Vietnam veteran and proud of it.

I am making a video on the first amendment for my civics class... & I have been searching for footage of Vietnam protests.

This was at the height of the Kennedy-Johnson-MacNamara war and their inept efforts to force their will on the Viet Namese people. Thanks God Nixon came along and put an end to it!
