Alright, I did. I placed an order on the Aventador!!! Blu Nova exterior with matching calipers and Nero ade interior with stitching to match the exterior! I haven't received the official info on when it will be finished though. Did you receive your info in a short or long matter of time? Can not wait to see it with my own eyes!!! Cheers :-D

I got my info relatively quickly but remember, I was one of the first US deliveries so we suffered from all the delays... car was supposed to be here in May/Jun, delayed until July, then Sept/Oct. Car is flawless, so its was worth the wait... just too bad it winter, but oh well.

@SharpShooter306 I opted for the upgraded sound system. It is actually pretty good... not as good as the V12 just over my head.. but pretty damn good if you ask me. You can hear it in some of the videos... the surround sound video give a clearer representation but since youtube is only stereo you wont ever appreciate it on here. :-(

@Kinger124 I don't know if there have been official tests, but the Aventador is supposed to do 10.50@135ish I believe. I'm doing a 2.3ltr build with a beefier stock frame turbo that should be good for 9's.

I really like the way this sounds, but I think the LOC exhaust i heard gives it the deeper lamborghini growl im used to. Do you know of any other manufactures with exhaust systems now? nevertheless wonderful video as always

@30secondCarMasta I know of the LOC (Lamborghini Newport) exhaust. The startup growl is a bit deeper but when its moving, there is something not quite sounding right about it. Take a listen to the videos online and let me know what you think. I think it is v1.0 so it may get better. It sounds untuned and not really fitting of the beast... Just my opinion, shared by a few too.

@DoctaM3 Yes, ive seen some other videos and I agree the sound needs to be tuned a bit more. I think they are on to something with the growl theyre trying to receive. Talking to one of the employees, theyre goal is to bring they deeper note to the aventador, as to them its a little too light.

I don`t think that this space craft needs any modifications at all! It`s all-around perfect. The sound is terrifying, don`t know why you`re thinking about an exhaust mod. Btw, is this car requiring only premium gas (98) for better performance eg?

the Aventador is a quiet car in a way... unless you unlesh the beast! people dont like the sound but i love it! in my "best supercars of 2011" video on my channel there is a scene where i recorded a Ferrari F430 driver arguing with an Aventador owner about how the exhaust sounds! great videos!! +1

To all of you concerned about the start up noise...trust me in person it is nothing short of amazing. YouTube has made it easier to capture 1080p HD video making our films look amazing. It is still just as hard as before to capture that studio quality sound that we expect to accompany the videos.

The car sounds amazing and the photo shoot was a blast.

With that in mind we detail the cars ourselves (part of the joy of ownership regardless of whether you own an Lambo or a Honda) and the photo shoots are just about getting together with some close friends. Some people hit the bars others hit a deserted parking lot and make movies and take pictures. ;)
