What a great idea, though. Wonderful! The usual plastic baskets are so fake and dissatisfying. These seem much more 'real', much more 'traditional'. They manage the pleasing appearance of the original basket design WITHOUT the waste of biological material! I wonder if they can be made out of recycled plastics... That would be really cool ^_^

oh... they're made from plastics. so it can be washable in dishwasher, and dont break as easily.

really? i've never seen a plastic basket like that. Woven plastic. I wonder if they're made from recycled plastic rather then making new plastic.

I think the reason these are "new" is because they're made from individual plastic strands that are interwoven as opposed to a fake weave plastic basket that is all one piece. (As jtoznel was trying to say.)
