I'm not too big on the 3d interfaces. They don't make the effect they should on a 2d screen. When we get holographic screens that you can interact with my hand, then I will be impressed.
Google reader is kinda obvious and is only for sites you know of but its still good for updates, and if you subscribe to the right site then it can update you on new everything.
Also I wish they would bring out the Red Shift Skin for the new FF.

I remember that spectra site from a magazine, never tried it out though... It certainly looks cool but it seems too messy to be convenient.
