i prefer LusikkaMage :/ im slightly annoyed by the ammount of people 'changeing' names on youtube for 'name reson here'. so ill be unsubscribeing, and not going to add the new channel.

As much as i like codeing, there are people that actualy sticks to their channels so its easyer to keep track of playlists whiout haveing to re link everything and doing bunch of work when one should be doing bunch of learning :/

@FusionNinjin I'll post videos to LusikkaMage when I have major updates on CoderRach, but don't you think unsubscribing because someone going with a more comfortable name / slightly inconveniencing you is about as silly as someone wanting to change their username anyway?

My channel's not about ego, it's about community and education, so if you don't wish to participate in that, then you're the one missing out. Moosader.com is still moosader.com, can still see everything there.

In anycase personaly i prefer this nick you have, the new one just sounds like 'codeing' rash? *(sorry not makeing fun of your name or anything but code/codeing ect doesnt seem very originale or fun or apropriate allready many channels that are straightforward.

@FusionNinjin if i were to make a channel about excel to showoff functions/vba ect then sure i could run into the generic mass and go for something like spreadsheetninja or Xlskris and so on and fall into the generic mass of people 'themeing' their channels after what theyr doing and then somhow falling into the void of the other *user242 and *user953 where people can only tell them apart after checking out the channel, instead of haveing a more or less unique name. (no offence ninjas)...~

@FusionNinjin I think that "Coder-Rach" is plenty good enough to be able to tell me apart from the "masses of generic programmers on the YouTubes". One: I'm a girl (uncommon), Two: My name is Rachel (uncommon for programmers).

Additionally, people tend to know ME by "Moosader", "LusikkaMage", and "Rachel", since I make my name fairly public on the internet. I don't think it's that much of a leap for people to realize who I am.

@FusionNinjin In a anycase hope i made some sence there, cus sure, it might not seem much for you, but the less people that change channel (and also make the mistake of makeing themself lost in the massess of other channels whit close to same name, and stuck in a 'theme') so when you release a vid you only wana show off a game or other stuff, you suddenly have a dilemma of haveing a 'coder' channel or worse 2 channels 1 per theme or 3 4 5, limit?

@FusionNinjin And don't you think it would be easier to find somebody's game if they had the keyword "Code" in their name, rather than "Lusikka" (Finnish word for "Spoon") or "Mage"? It's SEO, in a way. I don't care that much about search results and the like, but "Coder Rach", I believe, is more identifiable as me as a person.

I mean, do you honestly not look at

@FusionNinjin "Coder-Rach" isn't mean to be original per se; it's a "marketing" strategy. It's better to have a name that's identifiable as what the channel pertains to, rather than something super original that nobody is going to be able to remember, or know what it is at first glance.

I also felt uncomfortable going by the name "Lusikka", so it makes me feel better to go by my own name instead.
