  • garlic naan sounds so good... I want to eat all the food you make

  • This looks so easy to make - I'll have to try it - very nice video :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy Thank you. This recipe gives good results with minimal effort. So it is my kind of recipe.

  • I have never seen naan made this way. I will have to try it. I make it in the oven, heated to 450 degrees, and put the stretched naan on a heated pizza dough stone thing. Have you lost weight by the way? If so, how did you do it?

  • @catsmew The pizza stone works (as you know. But this way I am sure that the bottom is done just the way I like it. (but thats just me being a control freak).

I have lost 65 pounds. I have cut way back on processed foods and portion size. I have not gone to a low fat diet but I have cut back on how much fat I take in. However I make sure to eat plenty of fat every day mostly with leaner cuts of meat. I also eat a variety of fruits and veggies. Cut way back on bread, potatoes and rice.

  • @powerplantop I have heard to avoid white foods (it's a simple way of remembering to stay away from starchy foods, simple carbohydrates in refined sugar, white rice, white bread, etc).

I also heard a great analagy of explaining why vegetarians can be fat. It's from farming; grain for gain. Livestock are fed grain when you want them to gain weight.

Brazil nuts are really good for you. I think the most important is to maintain, don't try losing weight quickly or switching diets often.

  • @powerplantop Thanks for your answer. I don't mean to bother you, but would you be willing to do a video on your loss? I keep hearing to keep portion size small, but nobody explains what that means because regular portions in restaurants are so huge and the serving size on packages is so tiny. It's also hard to know which fat is good or bad. 65 pounds is a lot of weight! Cheers to you keeping it off. Good that you cook. That way you keep track of what you eat.

  • I really like Naan. I thought it would hard to make. But it seems pretty easy! Thanks for the video! Oh, what is Ghee?

  • @Lylalee16 Ghee is clarified butter. It is easy to make see the video I posted yesterday. Or you can buy it.
