Not the best movie by Anne Hathaway by a long shot. I didn't really like this movie. It was weird, suspenseful, and the stalking was creepy. I wasn't sure if this film was suppose to be mainly....romantic, suspense or mystery. A twist of all 3 makes for a overwhelming movie and not in a good way. I'm sure the book is better.

@misstwinklestar2 In a mysterious twist, the passengers were all dead. In order for them to come to terms with their passing. Their passed loved ones come back to help guide them and find their way. They had to figure it out on their own and make peace with their previous life before moving on. Had they focused on the real things that matter, family and life, maybe they wouldn't have much regret. You never know when your time will be up, so live now, not later.

The main purpose of this movie seems to be to prove that straight women are as incompetent at the professions (Business, Law, medicine;etc.) as straight men are at interior design. The lead actress is living proof that, in cinema, pretty will only carry you so far. She should stick to playing waitresses and bartenders and leave the adult stuff to adults.

To better explain the movie, Clair (Anne Hathaway) and her patients all died on the crash. The needed help passing over and they all had to realize what happened to them on thier own with some clues. They had to remember it all. Their loved ones came back to help them. In the end they were able to pass over with the other passengers who already passed over.

@EdinePl the girl claire(anne) was unawair that she was a passanger on the plain that crashed, but she found a list of the passangers and her name was on it, she never got to pologize to her sister, the guys she loved was dead also so everyone dead can communicate but to the real world their dead and gone, so at the end her sister came back and found the card claire was about to send to her sister. and the dog that came back was dead so therefore when they saw it they knew they were dead get it?

The strangest thing is the opposite here is true. Reality itself is the hardest acceptance by people. Ordinary natural reality itself with no other dimensions.
