yea the undertail looks cool and all, no doubt. but if youre more into performance the lower one is better. it lowers center of gravity and is lighter.

slopmaster1 obviously doesnt ride at all. saying those bikes were 1000s with 750 power is just retarded. ive had a 04 cbr1000 and also an 07 r1, sorry dude but bikes that have 150-160 hp to the wheels like all of the 04-up 1000s have, including zx10s, are way more powerful than a 750. theres at least a 30 or 35 hp (prob more than that) difference between a 750 and a 1000 with hardly any weight difference between the two. you obviously dont know anything about bikes so stop making dumb comments.

Always putting out great stuff Spidey! If you haven't already I highly recommend putting a pair a Graves on the ass end of a new 09R1 the duals sound great and fit under the tail and do not protrude past the sides of the tail. Nice job on the turbo/nos bike as well, painting over carbon fiber...must be nice to able to play like that!

I think they decided to focus more on function than form this time around. I think it looks good in the same sense that a Dodge Ram looks good.  In reality the Ram is just a big heap of metal, but knowing that it was built to be a beast, you could see the appeal. Same with this new R1 and last year's 1000RR. If you understand why they did what they did, it all makes sense and starts to look good.
