I'm sorry for your loss and your sons ultimate sacrifice. My husband has been in the Army for 9 years and has done numerous deployments. Every night I pray and thank God that he has been given back to me safely... Everyone should consider these men our hero's!!

Zac, you brave soul rest with our kind, and know you did the best you could, you have my respect, from one who knows.

he was a cav scout one of the hardest jobs in the army they go in before everybody they are the frontlines they are also some of the most respected soldiers in the army b/c of the hell they go threw my friend is a cav scout and just got back from afghanistan he's not the same at all and it makes me very upset im joining in a couple months to be one

i watched this video after a recent arguement between me and my girlfriend over me joining the army and it made me feel quite sad, then i looked down at the comments and saw that zac had actually passed away.
im not saying i wont be joining the army anymore but this has deffinatly changed my view on things and how much people would get hurt if anything happened to me. im lucky to have a family that love and care for me. just like im sure zac does. x RIP Zac - a true hero

I'm so sorry. My heart breaks for you. My husband is a Marine..as is my uncle. My Uncle has been deployed 4+ times to Iraq and Afghan. My husband is leaving in January.I honestly don't know what I would do if I lost either one. Once again, I am so sorry. Just know that God has him now, and there is no more hurt..
