  • "latin lingua mater et magnorum lingua"

  • Oh how I LOVE this song! I can never sit still when I am listening to it, like the music creates a trance over me. I'm actually learning how to sing this song at this tempo and believe me that's NOT and easy task when you don't know the words. Another group that I like that blends old and new world music is eRa if anyone is interested in checking them out.

  • Sry but this version sucks, Carl Orff's much better!

  • has been so long since i heard this song. still awesome^^ :)

  • Now it melts and decreases hail, snow, and the rest; winter flees, and now the earth sucks the breast of spring his mind is miserable, who neither lives nor frisks under the right-hand of summer! They glory and they delight in honey-sweetness who try, so that they may enjoy the prize of Cupid. Let us be at the command of Venus (Cypridis) glorying and delighting to be equals of Paris!
  • Thanks for posting the English translation. :)

  • "Ecce gratum" is "Behold the pleasing" in Latin. I can kind of "speak" Latin, so this is how I translated it: Behold the pleasing and desired spring bringing back joy, purple-colored flowering meadow, the sun brightens everything. Now let sadness fall! Summer returns, now recedes, the rage of winter.
  • Fantastic, thanks so much!

  • It is a movement about the coming of Spring from the opera "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff... YT won't allow the lyrics since they exceed the text limit... :/

  • geiles lied

  • saugeiles lied

  • ja, du hast Recht. Nur Geil!

  • Einfach nur geil!!!

  • I wonder what the words mean
