yes i would highly recommend it. even if you're just texting. you get used to to the qwerty keyboard quickly ;)

I agree with you. Texting using a non qwerty keyboard is a pain. I'd much rather suffer the cost of an expensive call than to text. A full qwerty keyboard makes texting alot easier. A touch screen keyboard which now seems to be infashion and soon to take over is not as good as hardkeyboard.
