I saw this "bad boy" at the SF Blues Fest in '07 and he & his band (only 3 guys) really tore it up. He's a prototypical bar band/honky tonk/dive/jukejoint/roadhouse kinda player and I think the Saloon in North Beach, where this was recorded, is the perfect venue for him. It has the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating bar in SF, dating back to the Gold Rush & surviving the 1906 Quake. A beer & a shot (and keep 'em comin'!) kick-ass joint.
