it's in all of the history books that during the cultural revolution the farmers had to meet a quota of amount of grain they were giving in to the gov to gain economy. the farmers said they were putting in high numbers and wat happened was once they didn't meet their #s the gov took everything they DID grow. meaning no food for them and there was a famine during that time that made it difficult. about 30 mil died of starvation. i'm serious. the plan was called 'the great leap forward' .

Prisoners are forced to handle toxic chemicals without protective gear or are forced to work in asbestos contaminated mines, where any occupational safety law is completely ignored. Occupational safety is non-existent in these camps.
