@mburr3 Jackson Hole, Wyoming is about as country as you can get when the tourists all leave. Cornbread may be hard to find, and beef is the meat of choice, but it's definitely full of down home folk.
@4GooMan, Yes, I live in the country as well - along the Puget Sound, so I realize that "country" extends to all kinds of environments and wasn't slighting your area on that account. But, for me, I really key in on the "corn bread and chicken" lyrics (because I grew up in the south) and wouldn't say either of our personal neighborhoods fit that image. That is all my comments were remarking about - not the rural nature of your area (which is beautiful and I've been there multiple times).

My present neighborhood is in Atlanta. Hardly country, but easy to find cornbread and chicken. Hush Puppies are hard to find, though.
he reminds me of my dad cept my dad has a lot more southern accent and my dad is very country. and i am excactly like him i like guns and trucks and drinkin and havin fun in the mud. and i have a very southern accent. and i go to a country school and my accent is more southern than anybodys there and when i go places like to the store or somethin somepeople ask me what im sayin cuz my accent. its funny cept when i cant understand them cuz they talkin to fast. well im a farm girl forever!!!!
