  • THESE DRILLS ARE NOT FOR BEGINNERS! get your leg muscles strong and balanced and loose. if you're weak, i guarantee that youll get jumpers knee if you do that. and it sucks. very good video man.

  • @Zeke4TV: strength training will increase your vertical. I recommend 2 times per week. This video is of my client. He can't dunk, but is very fast. Thanks for watching

  • I am a basketball player at the comm. college level and I do plyos to help my speed and jumping. I do some of these, but could definitely add a few of these for a better workout. great vid!!

  • These drills are also fantastic for martial arts. In fact, basketball is one of the best activities you can do to help your martial arts. It enhances your agility, footwork, softness so you aren't too rigid, overall coordination, and reaction speed. I think I'll use some of these drills.

  • The sport we helped trained him for was basketball. Although, the drills could be applied to just about any sport. Thanks for the comment!

  • does these drill just increase your quickness? do they also increase your vertical jump

  • Yes. The speed ladders do increase your foot speed. you will be surprise how quick you will become. The platforms will definitely help with your vertical jump. It would be best to use the equipment on a hard surface with hard bottom shoes without cushion. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment!

    mantain a more athletic stance (butt down knees as close to a 90 degree angle as possible)

    keep arms pumping up and down

    other than that good!
