AHHHH, I feel soooooooooooooo sorry about the literary world that still does not know about one of the greatest literary figures ever produced by this world. I would never want to compare Ghalib with Shakespeare, Poe, Keats, Blake, etc. I wish the west would ever be able to compare these poets with Ghalib. It's not west's fault anyways, we easterns could not introduce him to the West so well.

This is indde a good video of the TV serial on I think DoorDarshan. But earlier a film (Movie) was produced by great Sohrab Modi with the same Title (in 1954) starring Bharat Bhushan and Suraiya. Music composed by Gulam Mohammad. The gazals rendered by Suraiya and Talat Md. are superb. The movei is not available as far as I know. Suraiya singing "Rahiye ab aisi jagah, chal kar jahaN koi na ho" is worth listening.
