winnipeg in general has some of the most respectful fans in any leage they are in, i guess its manitoba thing , its too bad the other teams dont have as many fans as the bears and moose, chicago usually is up there too in attendance. thats it though.

Watched the game at the Giant Center Friday night! What a season! Great job Bears! Cup #10! And Manitoba, what an awesome season! It's great to see true, and respectful hockey fans. Clapping for the Bears even in defeat. Well done Manitoba.

Wow, to comment on MTC Centre - that is by far the best arena in the AHL. 15,000 seats (set up like a traditional arena with seating all the way around) and LCD light strip on the sides.

Sucks the Jets don't have a team anymore - it'd be awesome to see them get an NHL team in the future again, but that looks like an awesome arena.

Congrats to both teams on a great year.

Yeah it's an awesome arena - will be 5 years old this November 2009. Only downside is the concourses are a little tight when the lower bowl is sold out - particularly where there are concession stands with lineups you get choke points. Otherwise the location is excellent (right in the downtown core) so it's very easy to catch a bus home or if driving, cars leave in all directions so the traffic jams are not too bad.
