Bart the Massage Therapist here. I worked at the Hotel for its final 13 years and will always be glad for the experience and the people I met there. In my early years there we were always busy. Granted the last few years were a bit stressful on the staff as the future of the hotel was so uncertain. But on the whole it was a tremendous place to work and learn my craft. I would do it again. Best wishes to all my customers and the many friends that I had there. Bittersweet video. Good memories.

Worked there for a few years in the late 70's. These shots made me feel sad The Concord had so much history. Too bad they weren't able to pull out all the gaming equip they had stashed. Legal gambling would have been such a boon to the Catskills and NY.

i worked there , the owners didnt pay thier taxes and were behind 11 millon dollars . so the county took over ownership . they had an auction to recover some of the money , but then it sat for years . vandals and weather tore it apart . it litterally fell apart from no upkeep and was a danger, this is its end result.

I must say this was hard to watch as I spent many summers working there ...we had such fun summers and I feel like a piece of my childhood has been demolished.  Long live the concord Hotel....Many famous people performed there too!
