I have to be honest that the recorder kind of ruins it. It would sound better on high bass, and I have to say that her recorder isn't really appropriate for this kind of playing; a softer wood like pear or maple would sound better here.

The song is "Sato no Aki" (lit. in Japanese, Autumn of Village), composed in 1945 by Minoru Kainuma, a Japanese composer.

Originally written in Japanese, the words are later translated into Chinese, and the song has been thus popular also in China. (The vid starts with English and Chinese subtitles.)
