Ok people, it's in 5. Horacio occasionally changes his left foot pattern from quarters to clave. Around 2:18, he goes to quarters between the hi-hat and foot bell, making the pattern take twice as long to come back around. Then mostly just eights the rest of the time.

I,ve seen them both live and I can't really pick one over the other. Antonio Sanchez playing with Pat Metheny imparts the clave groove and beat in a music that is not salsa or latin jazz that it amazes me. I would love to see him play with Michel. Horacio is a monster, and so is Antonio
