  • I guess it will be quite a challenge as you have to reach 2000ºC degree to melt corundum (Al2 oxide powder) + Oxygen and hydrogen gas to make something like a colorless crystal!

  • Awesome video.

    I'm a big fan of gemstone synthesis and mineral upgrading. I've made a few microscopic diamonds and some multi-carat clear "white sapphire" in the microwave myself (different methods, obviously).
