To advance for today’s technology, to run something like this you need the maximum amount of specs probably 10x more today’s average computers specs. To actually own one it would cost a fortune I would estimate 10000$ minimum.

It’s perfect for big enterprises but not for the average Microsoft consumer.

@TheInnovativeCopier Problem with Microsoft products is that it looks good only when they show demo..Even if you notice in demo this two gentlemen cant operate it properly..When it comes to real life usability it fails horribly..Eg : Surface 1.0 I have operated it and it sucks so much hardly usable...Response time is very slow and screen freezes a lot..I am not big fan of Apple but I have been using iphone and ipad never had any such problems

Love, like or hate them, the things Apple is doing is forcing other companies to work hard to bring out cool stuff like this to stay competitive. As consumers we all benefit from that kind of market. If Apple didn't exist do you really think there would be a Windows 8 that has the features it has? If not for Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion, MS would be working hard on XP service pack 4. If not for iOS, you'd still be carrying a PDA AND a phone, and it would still be running Palm OS or Windows CE.

It looks pretty nice but seems to suffer from the same problems which haunt every touch screen device except those made by Apple. The touch screen is glitchy, there are quite a few times in this video where you can see that one of the presenters tries to do something and the system reacts in a way they don't expect. Nice idea, needs a fair amount of work before it will be commercially viable.

This is probably the coolest thing I've seen from Microsoft in a long time. I am an Apple fan, but that's only because I've had so many issues with my windows based pc's and zunes. I have to admit I haven't had any issues with my Apple products to date, but that doesn't mean I'm tethered to them. Whoever makes the best product wins my money and support.
