Great tutorials, I started at episode 1 because I don't know how to draw, but like to learn it as a hobby. I want to learn how to draw because it seems like an amazing ability/skill to learn. I really appreciate these videos, the language is easy to follow and is better than reading books I find in the library! All the tips and tricks are soo much easier than reading a book about perspective 50++ pages long.
It is just a comment. I think you're videos are great and very helpful. I don't mean to know more than you. I know you already know this, it's just that it could get confusing for some viewers. Again I don't mean to criticize. I really appreciate your vids
dam, i was sitting here after work, decided to look up some lessons, this one blew me away as for perspective, im a fine arts major and this one was well put together!!
This is all theoretically true. If the surface of the earth is roughly a sphere, then this information is actually true. Our eyes just tend to give us the wrong information and that is what we draw. This is the only instance where drawing what you know is helpful.
The only way this is useful, in my opinion, is if you are drawing something on the inside of a sphere. But no one does that. We draw on a flat piece of paper or whatever.
When I bought my Cintiq 18SX about 3 years ago it was $2500. Nowadays you can probably get one used for around $800-$1000. The latest model -- the 21UX retails for $2500

It's so weird that I don't even know how I see things, and that these conceptual explanations are so hard to wrap my head around. BLARGHH.

The last cube is slightly wrong. The two lines on the far right and left should diverge towards the bottom
