Motown put a lot of time and effort into the intros of their songs because they knew that's when you catch the listener. As good as this video is, and with respect to this drummer, listen to the drum intro here...then go back and listen to the great Uriel Jones play one of the most exciting one and a half second drum intros on any song. It's a small thing but that's part of what made Motown great.

well it kinda was cuz of the way the band was playing the song. all too fast like this. sucks they never performed it the same after the original recording. plus david smoked a lot and did a lot of drugs by this point in his life. so it made him worn down a lot. i think he had it. as for not havin it no more, it's true cuz.... he dead mon
