Its such a shame the hindenburg put everyone off them because it used hydrogen and not helium

They should bring back air ships, That would be fun to ride in one. But alas, there are many problems with these aircraft.

@bradhig there is one, made by the same people at this Graf Zeppelin, equally as good, but not quiiiiite as hard to fly.

@puterboy1 I may well do that, but i need to check i still have the model (if not ill have to go get it again). If i do i will endeavor to make one, though ill need to get to grips with flying them again. :L

May 6, 1937.
The LZ-129, better known as the Hindenburg, arrived at Lakehurst, New Jersey that night at 7:25 pm. When about to land, it suddenly got caught fire and burned to the ground. Many people died that night. To this day,it is still not known how the Hindenburg caught on fire.

Abolutely fantastic! I got to see the Zeppelin museums in Friedrichshaven and Meersberg last year and this puts all the technical theory and reconstructions neatly into context. Now I've just got to buy myself a copy of this if still available and have a go. Mind you flying her in bad weather would be even more of a test - some of Hugo Eckeners exploits make your hair go grey! The rendering of the ship and interior are superb.
