Every time i listen to "The Unborn" and "Liberation" wich are both great albums i have a feeling that this is it - soundtrack for the end of the world has arrived. Perfectly played with those melodies... but in reality this music has a dark and sad soul.
MPE is incredibly good. I am not much into melodeath, but those bands i heard are not even close to MPE. The reason is not only in music the way it was written and played, but in dramatic emotions and massage. Yes, many bands say we are fucked. But only few like MPE do it dramatically with such dispare. Beautiful!

Every time i listen to "The Unborn" and "Liberation" wich are both great albums i have a feeling that this is it - soundtrack for the end of the world has arrived. Perfectly played with those melodies... but in reality this music has a dark and sad soul.

MPE is incredibly good. I am not much into melodeath, but those bands i heard are not even close to MPE. The reason is not only in music the way it was written and played, but in dramatic emotions and massage. Yes, many bands say we are fucked. But only few like MPE do it dramatically with such dispare. Beautiful!

@kinsmobman I don't know, they don't sound melodeath that much. They have unique sound, or at least had back in '93. Now, these american metalcore and deathcore acts have placed CoB as their example, and frankly CoB is closer to those genres. Mixed with trash and punk.

@MrArning jawazitaly1991 is right, COB puts on a great fuckin show. They may not have put out a superior album since Follow the Reaper (Arguably since HCDR) but they are still a solid band, entertaining to see live, and are worth giving a listen to. MPE is far superior, I'm just giving my 2 cents
