I have vegas and I know how to mask a picture ( like just putting a motionless picture on top of a video), but how do you mask a moving person on, like at 1:49 ?

@dillpickle59 at 1:49 I simply used chroma keyer to make the sky transparent, what you are talking about is motion masking, motion masking is when you go frame by frame and mask the character or object every time it moves on a side note, motion masking is a bitch and should be avoided when possible

at 1:36 how'd you resize the clips to all fit on the screen?

1. I got 4 different clips

2. I put each clip on a different video track all on top of one another

3. I played with the crop/pan menu and clicked the bottom corners and resized it to be smaller than the screen

4. Repeated for the rest of the tracks

I used Sony Vegas 9 Platinum, about the effects, you're going to have to be more specific than that, watch the video again, and let me know when the effects take place and I can answer your question better

At the beginning hollow ichigo standing over the pictures and also at about 0:10

Ok, for the hollow ichigo overlapping clip, this is what I did. I selected a clip that had a light blue sky in the background, and used chroma keyer on it, to make those color pixels transparent, then I just put a bunch of smaller clips in the video track below it. Now for 0:10, I actually put those clips together and rendered them. After that, I imported the render back into the program, and I used a gradual brightness increase on the whole clip

Some clips work better than others, are you taking the eyedropper tool and selecting the color pixel you want?

I clicked on the eyedropper and then i clicked the background of the clip.

ok, you might have a clip that doesn't have enough pixels that are close enough to the clip you clicked or you'll have to keep playing with the high and low thresholds on it until it works, also as another tip, check the show mask box, and everything that is completely black is completely transparent, and everything that is completely white is remained untouched by chroma keyer. I would suggest that after you get everything where you want it, hit the blur bar to 1, it becomes very less apparent

The effect that I used was chroma keyer, it makes certain pixel colors transparent. All I did was I found a scene with Ichigo and in the background was a blue sky, I just made the blue ones transparent so we could see all of the other cool stuff goin' on back there. Hope this helps! :D

I used Sony Vegas 9 Platinum to make both the intro and the AMV. About 00:28, I actually didn't use the cookie cutter fx, I cropped it diagonally, and turned of the "stretch to fill frame" button on the top right hand side under "source". Hope that helps! :)

Wow.... I don't think any AMV has ever really hit me like that one did. I really don't think I have words to be able to do justice to this one at all but simply put it was magnificent in every aspect I can think of really. Truly exceptional and probably my favourite of all of my favourites.

It's alright not to great! It's seems you rushed to complit this AMV especially toward the end. I would of saved best fiting scens for the finally to make it memoreable. You also had some subbs sticking out, you should of removed them.

Let me try my best. You have a center focus,it mostly links with the vizard plot,but I mean when the timeframe transitions too far away.like he'll beat renji for the first time and suddenly be fighting grimmjow in the video. While it may be to fit the text its hard to belive someone could jump time like that,and at this point its my friend pointin out new stuff.

Alright Arch,Now the beginning was very good but it seemed like you got lazy near the end. like at 0:47 is where it started,I don't see a scene with no vizard at all,in different sagas against a shini near a vizard fighting an arrancar several seasons later,thats just a small example though,the effects don't make the entire video,but the make it look awesome.The only major flaw was when you used random scenes for long periods,the video didn't tie together as well as your others,was that enough?
